Le Traiteur means 'The Caterer' and is owned and run by the team from Libertine, North Melbourne.

We bake everything on site, so you can have croissants just out of the oven with your coffee at 7am, or rush in on your way home from work at 5pm and pick up a baguette. Pick up a container of beef bourguignon or a slice of terrine, some relish and a jar of olives and that's taken care of dinner.  Everything is made or baked in house by awarded Libertine chef, Nick Creswick.

Our coffee at Le Traiteur is blended and roasted especially for us by Joshua Bailey and prepared for you by our trained barista. Our wines are chosen by our sommelier, Zoe Ladyman and represent an oft-changing selection from Australian wineries and the rest of the world.

Everything on offer in the cafe will be available to take home or take away - breads & pastries, terrines & pates, our own stocks & sauces, specialty jarred & tinned goods and our coffee.  Your attentive service in the cafe is handled by hospitality veteran Tristan Creswick, Nick's brother.

Le Traiteur can cater for all types of events, from breakfast meetings to sandwich platters to bespoke dinners in your own home.
